Creating shipments

Learn how to create shipments in Finqu admin.

Where are shipments created from?

You can create shipments for customer orders in the Sales section.

First, open the order to be delivered and then do the following:

  1. If the order has not been fulfilled, click the Fulfill button (you can create a shipment while fulfilling the order).

  2. If the order has already been fulfilled, click the Create Shipment button.

Configuring parcels

When you create a delivery, you can specify the parcels in which the products will be packed. If you need multiple parcels, click Add Parcel. This will add the details of the new parcels to the page.

Next, select the products for the parcels. Each parcel contains a product list, and by editing the quantities of products in the lists, you can specify which products go into which box.

Once you have selected the products, set the dimensions and weight of the package in the Package and Weight section. You can edit the dimensions by clicking the pencil icon on the right side of the package menu.

The default weight is automatically calculated from the products' and the parcel's weight. If necessary, you can change the weight in the field.

You can save frequently used packages by clicking on the New Package link. This will speed up order fulfillment in the future, as you will not have to set the dimensions of the parcels separately each time.

Choosing a carrier

Once you have defined the packages, you can select the shipping service for delivery in the Shipping Service section. Make sure that the correct shipping service and other additional services are chosen.

Confirming the delivery

Once you have made all the selections, confirm the shipment by clicking the Fulfill or Create Shipment button.

Once the shipment has been created, you will be redirected back to the order page. You will find a Shipment section on the page where you can download the address label and see the tracking number/tracking link.
