Combined Listing

The Combined Listing feature lets you group similar products, helping customers find related options more easily.

About combined listings

You can link products so that they appear as selectable options on each other’s product pages. For example, different color versions of the same item can be implemented using a combined listing.

How do combined listings differ from product variations?

Products can also have variations (see guide), which allow you to create options like color or size dropdowns. This raises the question: why use combined listings if variations can do the same?

The key difference is that combined listing options are individual products. They appear separately in your online store’s product listings, and each can have its own name, description, multiple images, and other details that variations do not support.

Example: Color and size selection

You could, for example, group different colors or patterns of a product using the combined listing feature, and then add size options to each one using product variations. This way, you can give each color version a unique name, description, and set of images. Common size options (e.g. clothing or shoes), on the other hand, are usually not shown separately in product listings and are better handled with product variations.

Creating a combined listing

To combine products you’ve added to Finqu:

  2. Find and open one of the products you want to combine.

  3. In the Combined listing section, click Combine product.

  7. The product will appear on the page. You can edit its selection name just like in step 5.
