Transferring a domain name
In the store's administration, go to Online Store > Setings > Domain: Edit.
Click on the Search for a domain link.
Enter the address in the field without the www-prefix. For example 👉
examplestore.fiClick Search.
Click on the Transfer it to Finqu link.
Follow the instructions on the page.
Duration of the transfer
The duration of domain transfer may vary depending on the top-level domain (TLD) you have chosen. Fi-ending domains usually transfer relatively quickly, but for others such as .com, it may take days. The transferred domain may not immediately start functioning because DNS updates may also takes its own time.
Emails
If you have email addresses associated with your domain (e.g. [email protected]), you can transfer them to Finqu as well. In practice, this can be done by contacting Finqu's customer service.
Transfer key
To transfer a domain, you will need a transfer key. You can get it from your current domain name provider.
Challenges with the transfer
If you encounter any challenges with the transfer, make sure that your contact details are correct and that the transfer key you have entered is also correct and still valid. If necessary, you can request a new transfer key or a replacement key from your current provider.
If necessary, you can also contact Finqu support if the transfer does not proceed. We can check the logs for any errors and find out what went wrong.
