Email marketing

Create inspiring emails and attract customers to your store.

Updated over 3 months ago

Email marketing is an effective way to stay in touch with customers and increase sales. Send newsletters, offers, and personalized messages directly from your store management.

You can find email marketing under > Marketing > Messages.

Create a new message

Start by clicking the Add message button. In the window that opens, you can create a new message or use a saved message template.

Next, enter a name (not visible to customers) and click the Add message button.

Alternatively, you can select HTML code and add a ready-made message template as code. This allows you to use, for example, a newsletter template purchased elsewhere.

Message subject

Add a good subject for the message. The subject should arouse interest and clearly indicate the content of the message.

You can also use tags to personalize the subject, such as adding the recipient's first name.

Creating the message

The message is built using an easy-to-use editor. Click the Edit button to enter the message editing mode.

In editing mode, you can add new columns and select content for the columns, such as text, images, and buttons. You will also find options for colors, fonts, and other appearance-related settings.

By clicking the Preview button, you can see what the message will look like to the customer.

Tip: Don't send emails just for the sake of sending. Make sure each message offers something useful, such as exclusive offers, new arrivals, inspiration, or similar content.

Selecting recipients

Select all customers (who have given marketing permission) or customers belonging to specific customer groups as recipients.

If needed, you can further target the recipient list using audiences. When using audiences, the customer must belong to all selected audiences to be added as a recipient.

Recipients: newsletter vs. announcement

Sending a newsletter always requires marketing permission, and therefore newsletters are only sent to customers who have given this permission.

If there is a critical event in the store that must be communicated to all customers, use an announcement instead of a newsletter. Announcements are delivered by default to all customers in the customer register. Please note GDPR privacy regulations and do not send marketing messages via announcements.

Scheduling the message

You can build messages in advance and schedule them to be sent on the desired date.

If you do not use scheduling, messages will start sending immediately.

Sending

Send the message by clicking the Send button and confirming the send once more.
