Store publishing statuses

Your store has three possible publishing statuses: Published, Closed, and Showcase. You can manage these settings in Online Store > Settings > Publishing > Status.

Here’s what each status means:

In Published status, the store is accessible and fully operational.

In Closed status, the store is completely hidden from the internet and cannot be accessed by any URL.

If you want to keep the store private during setup, follow the instructions for setting a password here.

In Showcase mode, the store and products are visible, but purchases are disabled. This is useful for seasonal stores or to maintain search engine rankings without offering sales.
