Adding a Logo to Your Online Store

How to add a logo to your online store.

By default, your store’s name is displayed as text instead of a logo. This works well as a logo, and adding a graphic logo is optional. However, a graphic logo is often a more stylish choice, and here’s how you can add it.

You can find logo settings in Online Store > Edit Theme > Header > Content.

Adding the Logo

First, click the Add Image button.

In the file browser, click Upload Image File and select an image from your computer.

Select your uploaded image and click the Select button.

After adding the logo, you can adjust its size for desktop and mobile views.

Check your store on a mobile device or by narrowing your browser window to see how the logo appears in mobile view.

Logos in the Aurora Theme

In the Aurora theme, you can add two different logos because the header on the page is transparent.

If you upload only one logo, choose one that works well over the frontpage image and the white header background. Note that the logo cannot be white if the header’s background color is white.

Alternatively, you can add a white logo for the homepage and a black logo for other pages. This way, the logo looks good on both the homepage and other pages.

Publishing or Discarding Changes

The Save button will appear highlighted when there are unsaved changes. You can publish the changes to your store by clicking the Save button.

Before saving, you can also discard changes. Go back one change at a time using the left-facing arrow or discard all changes to the previous save point using the Draft button.


Please note that different themes may have different features, and these instructions may not apply to all themes.
