B2B store settings

Finqu is well-suited for B2B commerce.

Updated over a week ago

Take advantage of the extensive features designed for business-to-business sales. Here’s how to make the most of these options.

Require customer registration

You can require customers to register an account and even set up password protection for the store. In a password-protected store, customers can only make purchases once the merchant has approved their registration, allowing you to pre-approve all store access.

  • Customer account required for purchases: Customers must register an account to make purchases.

  • Customer account with merchant approval required for purchases: Customers must register an account and wait for merchant approval before seeing the store’s content.

You can find these options under Online Store > Settings > Purchasing > Customer Accounts.

Display prices excluding tax

It’s common in B2B commerce to display prices without tax. Finqu allows you to show prices excluding tax, adding taxes only in the cart or at checkout.

You can enable this setting in Online Store > Edit Theme > Open general theme settings ⚙️ > General > Show prices tax-free.

Use for product demonstration only

The store can also serve as a product demonstration, where items are not available for purchase. For example, you can create a password-protected product catalog for resellers.

This setting is available in Online Store > Settings > Publishing > Status > Demonstration.
