Learn how to restrict the availability of delivery methods in your online store.

Adding restrictions

  1. Go to Settings > Delivery methods.

  2. Open the delivery method you want to restrict.

  3. Set the desired restrictions and click Save.

About restrictions

  • Shopping cart total. Set the minimum and maximum amount in the fields. If the cart value is not within the range of the amounts you specify, the shipping method is not available.

  • Number of products in shopping cart. Set the minimum and maximum number of products. If the number of products is higher or lower, the delivery method is not available.

  • Weight of the products. If the total weight of the products does not meet the weight limits, the delivery method will be restricted.

  • The volume of products. If the quantity of products does not match the quantities you set, the delivery method will be restricted.

  • From the Countries section, you can select the countries where the delivery method is not available.

  • From the Customer groups section, you can select customer groups where delivery is not available (this will also restrict delivery to customers who are not logged in to the shop).

  • Products or Product Groups restricts the delivery method based on the products in the shopping cart.

  • Payment methods section restricts the delivery method if the customer selects a specific payment method at checkout.

  • Tags restrict the delivery method based on the tags of the products in the order.

If you use dynamic delivery charges, delivery methods have no restrictions on the amount, quantity, weight or volume. Dynamic pricing automatically limits delivery methods based on the dimensions and weights of your packages.
