A purchase discount encourages customers to spend more, increasing the average order value. You can create multiple discount levels for the cart total, where the discount increases as spending thresholds are met.
Add a discount by navigating to Marketing > Add discount > Purchase discount.
Setting discount levels
First, choose whether the discount is applied as a percentage or a fixed amount. Then, define one or more discount levels.
Example:
Customers receive a 5% discount for spending at least €100.
They receive a 10% discount for spending at least €200.
A 15% discount applies for spending over €300.
Status and description
Set the campaign's status (active/inactive) and give it a name for the admin view. Add a name and description visible to customers in your store (e.g., "Shopping Cart Discount").
Validity period
You can make the discount valid indefinitely or specify an expiration date. The start date of the discount can also be set.
Combining discounts
Manage whether this discount can be combined with other discounts. This allows you to control which discounts customers can use together for a single order.
