Discount codes are an excellent way to engage customers and encourage them to shop. You can create different types of discount codes and restrict them to specific target groups or even individual customers.
Add a discount by navigating to Marketing > Add discount > Create discount code.
Adding a discount code
Choose the type of discount code
Product discount: Reduces the price of selected products.
Buy x, pay y: Reduces prices based on set quantities.
Shipping discount: Reduces the shipping cost for an order.
Order total discount: Applies a discount to the order's total value.

Enter the code manually in the field or click Generate code.
Add multiple codes by separating them with commas (e.g.,
code1,code2,code3
).
Usage limits
Per customer: Limits how many times a single customer (logged into their account) can use the code. If this is enabled, the discount code may not be usable by customers who are not logged in.
Total uses: Limits the total number of times the code can be used. To create a one-time use code, set the limit to

Minimum purchase amount
Define the minimum cart value required for the code to be redeemed.
Discount amount
The way you set the discount amount depends on the type of discount.
For some types, you can set a percentage discount.
For others, you can choose between a percentage or a fixed amount, or select specific products to which the discount applies.
Restrictions
Each discount type has specific restrictions you can apply. For example, you can limit a discount to products from a certain manufacturer or product category.
Validity period
Depending on the discount type, you can set an indefinite validity period or define an expiration date. Some discounts require an end date.en.
Status and description
Set the campaign's status (active/inactive) and the name under which it will appear in the admin view.
Add a name and description that will be visible to customers in your store (e.g., "Discount Code").
Combining discounts
Manage the combination of different discounts to control how many discounts a customer can use per order.
