Choosing product groups in sales channels

If you have several sales channels, you can choose which product groups are available in each channel.

What is it about?

Finqu allows you to sell products through multiple sales channels. By default, all product categories are available everywhere, but you can limit the categories per channel if you wish. This is useful, for example, if you want only some of your brick-and-mortar products to be available online.

Note that you don't have to choose product groups if you sell the same products in all your channels.

How to select product categories

  1. In the left menu, open the sales channel whose product groups you want to edit.

  2. In the Product Groups section, select Selected product groups.

  3. Click Save (at the top of the page).

Next, you can select product groups from Products > Product Groups. Click the Edit link under the group to access the settings. In the settings, there is a Position section where you can edit the visibility of the product group.

  • From the Position in Product Groups menu, you can select the general location of the product group.

  • Under the Product Groups menu, there are also channel-specific menus from which you can:

    • Select Main level, so that the group is one of the main product groups.

    • Select one of the product groups under which this group will go.

    • Select Not in Use, which will completely disable the group from the sales channel.

How to remove multiple groups from a channel

If you have multiple groups that you want to remove from the sales channel at the same time, you can do so more easily using the mass function.

  1. Select the product groups you want to remove (from the sales channel you are in).

  2. Select Bulk actions > Remove from channel.

  3. Click Remove.
