Domain Transfer Key

To transfer domains ending in .com, .net, etc., you need a domain transfer key, which should be requested from your current domain provider. The domain key is only valid for a limited time. If they expire, you’ll need to request a new key from your current domain manager.

Verify Your Business Information

Before starting the transfer, ensure your business information and addresses are fully up-to-date in your merchant account (Top right corner menu > Subscription). If the ownership details are incorrect, it may be challenging to change them later.

How to Transfer Domain Management to Finqu

  1. Go to Online Store > Settings.

  2. Click the Edit button in the Domain section.

  3. Click Add Domain.

  4. Enter the domain without the www prefix (e.g., examplestore.com).

  5. Click Search.

  6. Click Transfer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Duration of Domain Transfer

The transfer duration varies depending on the domain extension. For example, transferring .com domains may take several days. After the transfer, DNS updates also take some time, usually between a few hours and a day.

The domain will appear under Finqu’s management once the transfer is confirmed and DNS updates are complete.

Set as Store Address

Finally, go to Domains, select the transferred domain, and save. Your store will now be visible at the correct address.

Emails

To continue using emails (of your domain) you might need to reorder emails from Finqu customer servide, or use email services, such as Google Workspace.
