Register a domain name

If you don't already have a domain, you can register it, for example, from these providers below:

• https://domains.google/

• https://godaddy.com/domains

• https://www.ovh.com/world/domains/

Attach the domain to the online store

Next, you can connect your domain name to your online store:

1. In Finqu admin, go to Online store > Domain

2. Click Attach in the Own domain section.

3. Fill in the address (for example, www.yourstoresname.com)

4. Click Attach.

Adding the DNS record to the domain

When you attach a domain to your online store, you will get a CNAME DNS record. You can see it in the section Online store > Domain > Own Domain. Next, you should add that record to your domain in your provider's service.

Domain name providers usually have very comprehensive instructions on adding DNS records. But if you need more help, contact your provider's support. 

Redirecting the root domain

If your internet address begins with www, you can also redirect the root address (without www at the beginning) to your online store. You can do it by adding the following A record to your DNS settings.

SSL certificate

When your online store is connected to your domain, you can ask for an SSL certificate from Finqu. Just contact our support, tell us your domain, and we'll set that up for you.
