Choosing product groups for sales channels

If you have several sales channels, you can select which product groups are available on each channel.

In Finqu, you can sell products on several sales channels. By default, all product groups are available on all channels, but you can also choose the product groups manually if necessary. This comes in handy, for example, when you don't want all your brick-and-mortar store's products to be sold on the online store.

Choosing product groups for sales channels

  1. Open the sales channel, whose product groups you want to edit.

  2. Go to Settings > General.

  3. Click Choose product groups at the bottom of the page.

Now you can choose the product groups in the Products > Product groups section. First, open the product group by clicking its name and then click Settings. In the settings, there is a Basic information section where you can edit the product group's visibility.

  • You can define a general position for the product group from the Position in product groups menu.

  • Below the Position in the product groups menu, there are one or more sales channel menus to define the product group's position in your sales channels.

    • If you choose the Main level, the product groups will be one of the main product groups in your store.

    • If you choose some other product groups on the menu, the product group will be placed under the product group that you chose.

    • If you choose¬†Not in use, the product group will not be in use in that sales channel.

Turning off several product groups simultaneously

  1. Go to Products > Product groups.

  2. Select the product groups you want to turn off in the sales channel.

  3. Click Bulk actions > Remove from channel.

  4. Click Remove.
