How to create shipments

You can create shipments from the Sales > Orders section. First, open the order that you are delivering.

You can create a delivery when you are fulfilling the order. Or, if it's already fulfilled, click Create shipment button.

Defining parcels

When you are creating a shipment, you can define the parcels which you pack the products into. If you need several parcels, click Add parcel. It creates a new parcel on the page.

Next, choose the products for parcels. Each parcel includes a list of products, and by editing the amount fields, you can define which products go to each parcel.

After choosing the products, set the parcel's measurements and weight on the Package and weight section. You can edit the measurements by clicking the pencil icon on the right side of the package menu.

The weight is calculated automatically from the products' weights and the package weight you have defined on the package measurements. But if you need, you can always change the weight manually from the Weight field.

Save time and define parcels in advance

You can save packages that you often use by clicking the New package link. It makes fulfilling orders quicker in the future because then you don't need to set the measurements manually every time.

Choosing a carrier

After you have defined parcels, you can choose the carrier in the Shipping service section. The options there might alter depending on the shipment application you are using but anyway, make sure that you choose the right shipping service and other additional services.

Confirming the delivery

When you have made all the selections, confirm the shipment by clicking Create shipment. Or, if you are in the fulfillment section, click Fulfill.

When the shipment is processed, you will be redirected back to the order page. There's a Delivery section on the page, where you can download the shipping label and see the tracking number / tracking link.
