Cart rescue

Here's how you can use the cart rescue feature in the online store.

Cart rescue is a helpful feature to encourage your customers to complete their purchases. In practice, it's an automated email sent to the customer after a certain delay.

Setting up the cart rescue

You can set up the cart rescue in your online store by following these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Prints and messages > Messages.

  2. Switch the Cart rescue message as active.

  3. Click Save.

You can access the settings by clicking the message's name. After that, you can edit these settings:

  • The Message content section shows a preview of the message. At the top right corner, you can find Translate and Edit buttons to edit the message's content.

  • In the Attachments section, you can add attachments to the email (e.g., pdf-files).

  • In Message delivery settings, you can choose how the message is sent and set a delay for the message. The online store will send the message to the customer after the products' reserve time and delay are over.
