Custom sales report

Learn how to create a custom sales report, which provides you more comprehensive information about your sales.

What is the custom sales report

The custom sales report gives you more detailed information about your sales than the normal sales report. You can see, for example, information about sales in different product groups. It's also possible to restrict the report to include only orders made by certain customer groups.

Creating the report

  1. Click the Account link at the top of the left menu.

  2. Go to the Reports section on the left menu.

  3. Choose Customizable sales report from the dropdown menu.

  4. Chose report type (html/csv).

  5. Set the From and To dates. The report will include only the orders between those dates.

  6. Choose restrictions and what information will be shown (more information below).

  7. Click Create report.

  8. When the report is created, the report will appear further down on the page.

  9. You can download the report by clicking Download.

Report settings

When you are creating a report, you can choose restrictions from the menus under the date fields. For example, you can limit the report to include only orders made by a particular customer group.

You can also choose what information is shown in the report. For example, you can see a breakdown of sales by different payment methods or suppliers.

The Daily breakdown instead of event breakdown selection lets you choose whether the report shows a list of all the orders or a list of each day's sales.  

Also include returns made to orders outside the given conditions selection allows you to include all the returns to the report. If this is not selected, the report excludes the returns made outside the date range you chose.
