The Inventory management feature helps you to monitor and edit your products' stock quantities.

About inventory management

The inventory management feature makes it easier and more efficient to manage your products' stock quantities. You can see all the quantities on one page, and you can also take stock or easily monitor the changes in the inventory.


Note that inventory management does not belong to all Finqu subscriptions (see pricing). Although, you can set product quantities in all subscriptions by following instructions in the Products' stock quantities article.

When you have inventory management available, there's an Inventory link on the left menu of Finqu admin. It creates a list of all the products and product options that have a stock quantity. You can search for products by using the search bar or filter the list from the Filters menu.

Editing stock information

Each product has the following stock information:

  • Balance

  • Alert quantity

  • Purchase price

  • Inventory price

  • Shelf number

You can edit the information by following these steps:

  1. Choose the information you want to edit on the top right corner of the list.

  2. Make the changes to products.

  3. Click Save.


If you need to add new units to your inventory, click Replenishment at the top of the page. It takes you to a page that is dedicated to increasing stock amounts. The replenishment feature is efficient, especially if your products have GTIN codes and barcodes on them and you have a barcode reader. 


By clicking the Stocktaking button at the top of the page, you can access the inventory feature. All the changes in the stocktaking are automatically saved to the product's inventory changelog.
