Filters in the online store

Filters allow your customers to find products based on certain details such as size or availability.

With filters, you can help your customers find the products they are looking for. Customers can filter the products with multiple factors, such as:

  • Product options such as size or color

  • Availability

  • Manufacturer

Creating filters

You can create a filter by following these steps:

  1. Go to Online store > Navigation > Filters.

  2. Click Add filter.

  3. Write a name for the filter.

  4. Add the filters from the Add menu.

  5. If necessary, organize the filters by dragging them.

  6. Click Save.

Using filters in all product groups

You can choose one of the filters to be the default filter. The default filter is shown in all product groups of the online store that don't have any special filter selected.

You can choose a default filter by going to Online store > Navigation > Filters and clicking the Default switch on the filter you want to use as default.

Choosing filters within product groups

There is a separate selection in each product group's settings where you can choose which filter the product group uses. You can find the settings by going to Products > Product groups > Open the group > Settings.

If you want some product groups not to have filters, switch off the Default selection in the filters section. After that, the filters will be visible only if you have selected them from the product group's settings.
