Changing online store's default texts

Here's how you can change your online store's default texts.

You can edit the default texts on your online store if some text doesn't feel right. You can also add new translations if you need to make changes to the online store's source code.

Editing translations

  1. Go to Online store > Design.

  2. Click Edit at the top right corner.

  3. Go to Theme information > Translations in the left menu.

  4. Find the translation on the page and make the changes to it.

  5. Click Save.

Adding new translations

New translations might be necessary if you change the theme's source code. You can add new translations by following these steps:

  1. Go to Online store > Design.

  2. Click Edit at the top right corner.

  3. Go to Theme information > Translations in the left menu.

  4. Choose the category where the translation will be added.

  5. Set a key to the translation. Use this key also in the source code to make the text visible on the store.

  6. Write the translation into the field.

  7. Click Confirm.

Removing translations

If necessary, you can remove translations by clicking the trash icon next to the translation.
