How to manage AI points in Finqu

Learn how to track and manage AI points in Finqu. This guide explains how AI point usage works, how to set usage limits, how to buy extra points, and how to keep AI usage predictable.

Finqu’s AI features use AI points. Every subscription includes a certain number of AI points that you can use without any additional charge within the monthly amount included in your subscription.

If you need more points than your subscription includes, you can increase your monthly usage limit or buy extra points in advance.

AI points are used, for example, when you use Success Agent, Workers, or other AI features. Because different tasks use different amounts of AI resources, point usage also varies depending on the task.

The price of one AI point is $0.001, so for example:

  • 10,000 points = $10

  • 25,000 points = $25

  • 50,000 points = $50

Where to find your AI points

You can track your AI points from the AI Points section in the bottom left corner of the admin.

There you can see, for example:

  • how much of your monthly points have been used

  • how many points have been used today

  • whether your account has prepaid extra points available

How to open AI point management

You can manage AI points directly from the notification in the bottom left corner.

Do this:

  1. Click AI Points in the bottom left corner

  2. Select Manage AI points

After that, you will see a view where you can manage your AI point usage.

What can you define in AI point management?

In AI point management, you can define three things:

Daily usage limit

You can set a daily usage limit, which defines how many points can be used during a single day.

This helps you control usage and gives you more confidence that points will not be used beyond the amount you want in one day.

Monthly usage limit

You can also set a monthly usage limit.

By default, the limit matches the AI points included in your subscription. You can lower it or increase it up to double the included amount.

If you set the monthly limit higher than the number of points included in your subscription, the extra points will be charged on your next invoice.

Prepaid extra points

You can also buy points in advance.

These points:

  • are paid for immediately at the time of purchase

  • are added to your account for use

  • are used if the monthly limit you defined is exceeded

Prepaid extra points allow you to continue using AI even after the monthly limit has been reached.

How AI points are used

AI point usage depends on what the AI is doing.

Points can be used differently depending on things such as:

  • how extensive the task is

  • how complex the request is

  • whether you use Success Agent or a Worker

  • how much content the task handles

  • how many steps are involved in the task

Because of this, it is usually difficult to estimate the exact number of points in advance. A simple request may use only a small number of points, while a broader or multi-step task may use more.

The AI point model makes AI usage more flexible across different use cases. At the same time, you can control usage yourself by setting clear daily and monthly limits.

Do you need to worry about AI point usage?

You might wonder whether AI usage could suddenly result in a larger bill.

To help with this, you can set limits for AI points:

  • the daily usage limit helps you control short-term usage

  • the monthly usage limit helps you control overall usage over a longer period

You can also decide whether you want to use only the points included in your subscription or allow a higher monthly limit. You can also buy extra points in advance, which helps you know ahead of time how much has been spent on them.

When does it make sense to buy extra points?

Extra points can be useful, for example, when:

  • you use AI more than usual during a specific campaign or project

  • you want to make sure usage can continue after the monthly limit has been reached

  • you want to manage part of your usage with prepaid points
